Featuring dual and triple prep ALL-STATE award winners across the nation
"Coming soon... 27 dual all state award winners from around the nation all battling for #1 in the 2004 senior class!"

We Found Another One.

Hailing from Aberdeen, South Dakota comes Taylor Mehlhaff, probably one of the hugest sports packages in the nation today. Taylor has been All State in Football (kicker) since he was a junior and is ranked by Rivals.com as the #1 place kicker in the nation this recruiting season. He also holds All State honors in baseball where he has carried a batting average of over .450 forever... which sounds more like his grade point average that reflects many college honors courses and an SAT score to match. He hopes that whichever college he chooses to attend, will allow him to play both sports
but admits that he's going as a kicker in football. Like Bubba Bradley, Taylor is left footed and the QB of his varsity football team that made it to the state finals this season. This dynamic duo is freaky as they're so much alike it's hard to believe that there could be two like them at the same time on the face of the planet... and they were born within 24 hours of one another too! Taylor looks to Wisconsin or Minnosota in the Big-10 to fulfill his dreams of D1 ball and with his accomplishments we're sure that national TV will never be the same. MSR looks forward to the day that Bradley and Mehlhaff shoot it out ona Saturday afternoon on national TV... won't be long! Keep an eye out for Taylor as he starts setting records soon and watch the MSR hotline reports following him through the years to come.          Dual All State Award winner Bubba Bradley added a few notches to his pistol by claiming practically all of the top Arizona state kicking awards this season. The Glendale senior repeated as Wells Fargo All Region Kicker and Punter and Quarterback, 4A AZ All State Kicker and was awarded "All Area Punter" by Channel 13 'Friday Night Fever' sports channel. He was also awarded the All NW Valley Kicker Award by The AZ Republic Newspaper and the most prestigious "All Arizona" Kicker Award, which makes Bradley one of the best eleven offensive players in the state of Arizona and most importantly, #1 kicker in the state of Arizona .
The latter award, is rarely deemed by a 4A kicker as Arizona boosts a large array of 5A kickers each season that are no less than spectacular at kicking, both in numbers and distance.

Arizona features more state, regional and national championship soccer teams that annually pass onto football more seriously effective place kickers than any other state in the nation.and as a result the effect is felt from 1A through 5A football.

Bradley was "All Arizona" in soccer as a sophomore and converted his kicking skills to putting points on the board for the Cactus varsity football team the fall of 2001 by kicking a Wells Fargo Region Championship 22 yard FG with 40 seconds left in the game and earned "All Region" kicking honors for his efforts. He then won the 2002 Wells Fargo Region Championship by kicking three FG's and scoring a TD personally in double OT and earned AZ 4A All State and All Region kicking honors. And, although he has won numerous games for the Cobras with his left foot, undoubtedly the largest kick he made in the three years of kicking for the Varsity was a 49 yard FG in the State Quarterfinal this season in front of almost 10,000 with 55 seconds left to tie the game at 28-28. He then followed that up with a KO that traveled 50 yards and bounced straight up.twice, and was recovered by Cactus on the thirteen-yard line.and, two plays later the Cobras scored a TD to pass to the semis.

Chris Sailer of Chris Sailer Kicking, '97 NCAA All American kicker, All Pac-10 Kicker and High School All American visited Bradley in late October to check kicking mechanics.  Sailer has mentored Bradley for one year and ranks Bubba as one of he top three Prep/JUCO kickers in the nation.  From L-R, Sailer, long snapper T. Schmitt, Bubba, holder B. Parks and Glendale Cactus Coach Williams .

To date, we at MSR have yet to find a kicker in the nation that can match his kicking stats and that includes both Prep and JUCO kickers eyeing for D1 kicking opportunities for fall '04. Bradley booted 19 FG's with a long of 59 yards, 55 PAT's and constantly stunned opponents by drilling KO's into the end zone yielding TB's. His 19 FG's set a 4A AZ State season record and tied the AZ State record for most FG's kicked in a single season. All but four of his FG misses (12) came from attempts to set a new school record (63 yards) and he attempted that every chance he had.

And to think that he did all this and claimed a multitude of kicking awards that no other kicker ever has and also led the Cobras to the State Finals as their QB and #1 scorer compiling 15 TD passes and 12 TD runs personally is unfounded.

Bradley is presently fielding recruiting calls from Pac-10, Big 12 and Big 10 recruiters and is planning on taking visits both before and after the National Kicking Combine January 17 th in Las Vegas at UNLV. Chris Sailer, former NCAA All American, high school All American and pro kicker turned mentor and place kicker advisor to the largest and most sought after D1 college teams has trained and mentored Bradley for approximately one year. When asked about Sailer's effect upon his kicking Bradley replied, "Chris really helped me with all of it.mechanics, psychology and game plan.his donation to my efforts at kicking this season allowed me to take all the kicking honors I did, and I did it on the side from QB'ing.playing QB this season took all of my focus because of the combination of formations we ran.and we changed those every week to stay ahead of the competition.Chris is a great coach.really great". Bradley was ranked in the "Top Twelve" last year at the Vegas Combine and will compete again to retain his status.one of best twelve kickers in the nation. Recently, Sailer claimed that Bradley was one of the three best kickers in the nation.

which his stats easily have proven. Sailer has arranged for a variety of top brand college recruiters to be present for recruiting purposes.

Bradley will be taking his place kicking team with him to Vegas.long snapper Tyler Schmitt and holder Bobby Parks. Schmitt recorded over twenty sacks this season and was awarded AZ 4A All State DL (end) and Parks was the recipient of Bradley's KO that bounced straight up twice in the state quarterfinal which Parks recovered on the thirteen yard line which led to the winning score in the last minute of the game allowing the Cobras to pass to the semis. Bradley's place kicking team has been together for eight years dating back to Pop Warner days when the three won a conference championship on a 29-yard FG. They were 11 years old.hey Bubb's, take them to college with you!

This "team" has put some very important points on the board for the Cobras...having provided the mechanics which allowed Bradley to convert kicks to points... Schmitt and Parks performance over the three years the team operated for the varsity was practically flawless allowing Bradley to break the AZ 4A FG kicking record and tie the AZ State FG kicking record for most FG's kicked in a season.  Bradley will take his team to Vegas to the National Kicking Combine.
